Canada Day

Celebrate Canada Day, Parry Sound style!

Join us at the Town Dock in Parry Sound for a full day of fun, family activities, food, vendors and entertainment.

 Day Schedule

Town Dock festivities start at 11am in the Town Dock parking lot & at the Band shell.

Stage Shows by Theatre Arcturus, including; Stilt Walkers, Jugglers, Face painters and Balloon Artists!

Show times  1pm - 1:30pm, 4:30pm - 5pm & the Grand Finale at 7:30pm!

Daisy the Clown & Friends!  Face painters & Balloon artists on site from 11am - 7pm!  Free face-painting and balloons.

Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting Ceremony of the Town Dock Gazebo - 2pm.  Cedearland Homes will on-site with Sno-Cones & Cotton Candy.  (by donation proceeds to the West Parry Sound Health Centre Foundation)

Arts & craft vendors, as well as food vendors will be on site.


Stockey Centre Patio - Bands on the Bay Schedule

1-2:30pm - Terry Little:  Terry Little "The Carling Fiddler", an ever-popular crowd-pleaser will play here with special guests and friends, and not to be missed: a square dance.

3-4pm - Spur of the Moment:  Local Band playing Country Western classics

5-6:30pm - A Downstairs Band:  A Downstairs Band plays original tunes from their recent CD, as well as a mix of hard hitting tunes, new retro rock, country and nostalgic ballads picked from several decades of rock and R&B. 

7:30-9:30pm - Chris Mapstone:  Chris has been playing the guitar and writing lyrics for 11 years. As a world traveller, Mapstone's songs have been influenced by rich cultural and musical experiences, and his musical repertoire consists of playing the guitar, didgeridoo, percussion, harmonica, wooden flutes and singing. His lyrics reflect his passion and understanding for equality, freedom of speech, self reflection, relationships, and the environment.



Don't miss the spectacular fireworks display at dusk!  They're getting bigger and better every year! If you're viewing the show from a boat, on the Georgian Bay, please respect the no boat zone.
