Rezoning - 7 McMurray Street & Gibson Street

Take notice that the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Parry Sound will hold an electronic public meeting (via Zoom) on Tuesday July 6, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. to consider a proposed Zoning By-Law Amendment under Section 34 of The Planning Act, as amended.  

The applicant has requested to change the zoning of the property from R2 to permit a mixed-use building.  Seventeen residential units and proposed as well as a main floor that is mixed commercial/residential. It is proposed to be 17 metres tall.  The development would be subject to the R3 zone provisions and would need reductions to the exterior side yard setback, rear yard setback and parking requirements. 


The lands are known as 7 McMurray Street and an undressed lot on Gibson Street, legally described as Parts 1 and 2 of 42R7478.  Both lots are vacant.
