Rezoning Notice - George Street

Take notice that the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Parry Sound will hold a public meeting on Tuesday April 6, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. to consider a proposed Zoning By-Law Amendment under Section 34 of The Planning Act, as amended.
Due to the current restrictions on public gatherings because of COVID-19, this meeting will not be held in person but will be an electronic meeting, unless determined otherwise. Please contact staff if you wish to participate in the meeting.

The applicant has requested to change the zoning of the property from Residential Medium Density (R2) to Residential High Density (R3). The proposal is to create a 36-unit apartment building.

The lands are vacant and do not have a municipal address. They are described as Lots 11 and 12 of Plan 21, or specifically described as Parts 1 and 3 of 42R8176, and Part 1 of 42R9872. Please see the attachment for the complete notice and location map.
