Please be advised the Town of Parry Sound has received a report of an individual(s) approaching and speaking to town residents about installing a product and/or device to their water systems at the cost of the homeowner. Please note the Town of Parry Sound’s Water Department is NOT sending any staff and/or representatives to speak to residents about installing new water systems at the homeowner’s cost. The OPP and The Town of Parry Sound remind residents not to provide any payment or personal information to individuals approaching them regarding this system. If you are approached by these individual(s), you can contact the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre at 1-888-495-8501 or if an individual is at your home and you feel unsafe to contact the OPP.
