Rezoning - 17 Miller Street

Take notice that the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Parry Sound will hold a public meeting on Tuesday October 1, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Town of Parry Sound’s Municipal Office, 52 Seguin Street (Gibson Street entrance) to consider a proposed Zoning By-Law Amendment under Section 34 of The Planning Act as amended.

The applicant has requested to amend the C1 zone to permit a basement apartment unit.  The Zoning By-law requires that accessory units be above or behind commercial units.  Previously the property was used as a single detached dwelling, but has recently been renovated for a commercial use.
