Cheque Presentation Photo - Town to Auxiliary Community CaresCOVID-19 has reminded us that we live in a community full of wonderful volunteers. When it became clear that face coverings could assist in slowing the spread of COVID-19, the West Parry Sound Health Centre Auxiliary stepped up, they coordinated volunteers and started sewing masks for distribution. Due to the impending addition of a columbarium at Sylvan Acres Cemetery the cemetery by-law required some amendments. The by-law has been reviewed and the public is invited to provide comments until August 18th. Council will consider the by-law at the regular Council meeting on September 1st after which the by-law will be forwarded to the Bereavement Authority of Ontario for review and approval.
