Do you need to arrange a burial or interment?

Procedures are a little different during this time of COVID-19

As of September 21, 2020 Outdoor Funeral Services are permitted up to 100 people with 1 Funeral Director in place for every 10 attendees . Those attending MUST follow health and safety advice, including practicing physical distancing from people who are not from the same household or their established 10-person social circle. Please consult with your local funeral home regarding numbers allowed at the interment.

Cremation interments that are to be performed without a Funeral Director in attendance are under the care and guidance of the cemetery and the cemetery staff in attendance at the interment. Interments without funeral home involvement are limited to a MAXIMUM of 25 attendees.

Please contact the municipal office to discuss the potential number of attendees with the cemetery administrator to ensure those numbers can be accommodated. ALL physical distancing protocols MUST be observed.

Interments may take place between May 15th and November 15th.

As long as the frost or snow isn't too deep it is possible interments may take place after November 15th or before May 15th with the approval of the Cemetery Leadhand. We can talk to see if this is possible.
