District of Parry Sound Social Services Administration Board

The District of Parry Sound Social Services Administration Board (DSSAB) delivers social service programs in the Town of Parry Sound. The DSSAB is responsible for the delivery of a number of social services, including:

• Children's Services: Child care information & fee subsidy, directly operated home and child care programs, EarlyON programs, and Inclusion Support Services.
• Income Support & Stability: Financial Support, employment support, life stabilization support, and the Homelessness Prevention Program.
• Housing Services: Community housing, landlord engagement, housing programs, and housing subsidies.
• Violence Against Women: Esprit Place Family Resource Centre & Shelter, the Outreach Program, and the Children's Voices Program.

Parry Sound and Area Food Collaborative

The Parry Sound and Area Food Collaborative is an organization dedicated to fostering a localized and sustainable food system with equal access to nutritious, safe food.   This organization has created a Food Access Guide which contains information on community kitchen programs, meal programs, food banks, community gardens, student nutrition programs and good food boxes in Parry Sound.
