The ice rink offers heated bleacher seating for over 700 people as well as 2 heated viewing areas - one on the main level and one on the second level.

The ice pad is 185 x 85' and has 8 fully accessible dressing rooms and a referee change room.

The ice pad is home to various adult recreation hockey leagues as well as the Parry Sound Hockey Club (youth hockey), and the Parry Sound Skating Club.

In the off season, the ice pad surface hosts commercial trade shows, events including indoor sports as well as major concerts.

COVID-19 Update

(October 2, 2020) - The health and safety of our customers and employees is our number one priority.  Accordingly, the Bobby Orr Community Centre will be operating under several strict safety precautions and with limited services under the Ontario Regulation 364/20, under the Reopening Ontario (A Flexible Response to COVID-19), Act, 2020.

Ice usage at the Bobby Orr Community Centre will resume beginning September 28, 2020.  For more information on our COVID-19 usage procedures, click the "COVID-19 Ice Usage Protocol" tab below.

Facility Screening

All patrons who enter the Bobby Orr Community Centre are asked to complete the COVID-19 screening questionnaire prior to entering the facility.  Upon entry, patrons must confirm they have completed the screening questionnaire and are not experiencing any COVID symptoms.  Please only fill out the questionnaire on the day you are planning on entering the facility for scheduled ice or room usage.  A link to the online screening document is posted below:

Public Skating Programs

Unfortunately at this time, due to the COVID-19 pandemic we are not offering public skating at the Bobby Orr Community Centre.
