All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) use on Town Streets

On June 7, 2016 the Town of Parry Sound Council approved by-law 2016-6640 permitting the operation of ATV's on all Town of Parry Sound Roads.  

ATV's will now be able to travel through the Town of Parry Sound connecting the Park to Park Trail between Killbear Park, Oastler Park and Algonquin Park. The operation of ATV's on roads is governed by the Ministry of Transportation (MTO), please review the Smart Ride Safe Ride guide and visit the MTO website for detailed rules.

ATV use is prohibited on unopened road allowances, rail corridors, sidewalks, the Rotary and the Algonquin Regiment Fitness Trail and any park, shore road allowance, playground, beach, playground, cemetery and trail under ownership of the Town of Parry Sound.
