The Optimist Club of Parry Sound is once again partnered with the Town of Parry Sound to bring you the 2020 Santa Claus Drive-Through Parade!

Santa is still coming to town in 2020 in a drive-through parade!  Come out to the Parry Sound Mall parking lot on Saturday, November 28 to celebrate the holiday season with the community.

Time and Location

Date: Saturday, November 28, 2020

Time: The drive through parade is open from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM.

Where: Floats will be stationed at the Parry Sound Mall parking lot.

Information for Spectators

Please enter the Parry Sound Mall parking lot from Mall Drive beginning at 4 PM on November 28.  Volunteers will be on site to direct you through the floats.  

Please note that spectators are not allowed to leave their vehicles during the parade.

Be sure to tune in to 103.3 Moose FM who will be playing Christmas music from 4-6 PM during the parade!

Float Applications

To enter a float in the parade, please complete the Drive-Through Parade application using one of the methods below:

  1. Online by filling out the Santa Claus Drive-Through Parade Application
  2. Drop-off at the Town Office at 52 Seguin Street, Parry Sound ON.
  3. By mail to the Town Office (52 Seguin Street, Parry Sound ON, P2A 1B4).
  4. By email to the Community Recreation Programs Coordinator.

Make a Donation to the Optimist Club

The Optimist Club of Parry Sound is still accepting donations that will be used to support local children and youth.  We understand we are in difficult times, but if you are able, please consider making a donation to the Optimist Club in support of the EMS Toy Drive this year. 

The Optimist Club's mandate is to support children and youth within our community.  They support individuals and groups, host child-friendly events and partner with various organizations.  The Optimist Club of Parry Sound is able to do this through fundraising efforts.

If you wish to make a donation to the Optimist Club of Parry Sound, you may:

1. Make an e-transfer to optimistclubofparrysound@outlook.com

2. Write a cheque, payable to "Optimist Club of Parry Sound" and give it to an Optimist member on the day of the parade.

3. Contact the Optimist Club at optimistclubofparrysound@outlook.com for alternate arrangements.
