Cascade Street Bridge Closure June 6 to August 18 2023 - REVISED DATE May 29, 2023

Road closures are sometimes needed because of emergency repairs or planned road improvement projects. The Town is committed to re-opening roads as quickly as possible so that traffic can return to normal.

Cascade Street Bridge will be closed to all traffic commencing June 6, 2023 until August 18, 2023. The closure is for repair work to the bridge deck, sidewalks and railings. Traffic - vehicular and pedestrian - will be routed from west to east and east to west across the Seguin River on Seguin Street. From the west vehicles and pedestrians can take William St to Miller or James Streets and left onto Seguin Street. From the east vehicles can take Bowes to Seguin St and continue to Miller or James Streets, to William Street. Detour routes will be posted.

The Town of Parry Sound and its contractors are committed to a safe and orderly work site. While dust, noise, heavy equipment and traffic delays are intrusive, they are common elements of construction, which provides community infrastructure improvement. The Town will attempt to minimize inconvenience and appreciates the public’s patience while it works to upgrading the infrastructure.
