Champagne Street Boat Launch Closed For 2026 Season

The Town of Parry Sound is advising residents and visitors that the Champagne Street Boat Launch and parking area will remain closed for 2026.

This closure is required to support a major municipal infrastructure project, including the rebuilding of a pump station in the area, and is critical for enhancing the Town’s infrastructure reliability. For the safety of the public and construction staff, the site must remain fully closed for the duration of the work.

Throughout the closure, residents and visitors are encouraged to utilize alternative boat launch options including the Salt Dock Boat Launch. Overnight parking at the Salt Dock Boat Launch is permitted on a temporary basis throughout the duration of the Champagne Street project with a valid overnight parking permit. 

The Town of Parry Sound acknowledges the importance of our boat launches in the summer, and we would like to express our appreciation of our community’s understanding and cooperation as we continue to undertake this essential infrastructure enhancement for the community.
