Civic Scholarship 2026 - Applications Now Open 

Each year, the Town of Parry Sound is proud to support one local student through its annual Civic Scholarship. This $500 scholarship recognizes the hard work and dedication of a Parry Sound resident pursuing post-secondary education.

Eligibility Criteria

As established by Council Resolution 2022-073, applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

• have a home address in the Town of Parry Sound;
• have successfully completed their first year at an accredited college or university; 
• be enrolled in their second year at an accredited college or university; and 
• be enrolled in a minimum 60% course load as of September of the current year.

Application Process 

To apply for the Civic Scholarship, please complete the online form by Friday, August 21, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. 

The Town’s judging panel will review all eligible applications and select one recipient to receive the $500 Civic Scholarship. The successful applicant will be announced in September 2026.
