Town of Parry Sound Announces Closure of Champagne Street Boat Launch for Major Infrastructure Project

The Town of Parry Sound is set to embark on a substantial infrastructure project with the rebuilding of Pump Station 2.

The project, critical for enhancing our infrastructure reliability, is expected to extend through the summer and fall of 2025, with the potential to continue into 2026. During the construction period, the Champagne Street Boat Launch and parking area will be closed to accommodate the necessary work and to allow for a safe construction site. The Champagne Street Boat Launch will be closed starting July 2^nd, 2025. Parking at Champagne Street Boat Launch will be impacted before the start date as preparations begin. 

Throughout the closure, residents and visitors are encouraged to utilize the Salt Dock Boat Launch. Overnight boat launch parking will be permitted at the Salt Dock Boat Launch on a temporary basis throughout the duration of the project.
