Amendment to Water and Sewer Servicing Fees
The Corporation of the Town of Parry Sound, at their June 6th meeting, will be considering changes to By-law 2015-6551 (as subsequently amended through By-law 2022-7295), being a by-law to govern water and wastewater services. This amendment to water and sewer servicing fees will align the definition of dwelling and non-residential development types to be consistent with the definitions within the draft Development Charges By-law. The amendment is expected to reduce the fees for some residential dwelling types and increase others to be more in line with the expected persons per unit, while non-residential fees remain unchanged but will be calculated per square foot rather than per square metre at the converted rate.
