Annual Hydrant Flushing commences April 24 2023

The Public Works Department will commence its Spring Hydrant Flushing Program the week of April 24, 2023. The program takes approximately two months to complete. 

You may experience discoloured water that should clear if you allow the tap water to run for several minutes. A decrease in water pressure may also be noticeable.  Please direct inquiries to the Town Office at 705-746-2101.

Hydrant flushing helps ensure water quality and helps avoid random bouts of rusty water if there is a high demand for water.
