Pump Station and Road Reconstruction Starting

Minor surface work has commenced on the project to construct a new Sewage Pumping Station and rebuild Champagne Street, Birch Avenue and Parry Sound Road.

The contractor has begun pulverizing the asphalt on a section of Parry Sound Road near Emily Street to Birch Avenue, Birch Avenue and will continue on Champagne Street. 

The roads will remain open to traffic and the contractor will be maintaining the surfaces. 

Champagne Boat launch will remain accessible until July 1st, 2025 but will be inaccessible as of July 2nd and users are encouraged to utilize the launch at Salt Dock Road as an alternative access to Georgian Bay.
