Roadway Improvement Projects – Bay Street, McIsaac Way and Wood Street

The Town of Parry Sound would like to advise residents and visitors that roadway improvement work is planned for Bay Street (in front of the Stockey Centre), McIssac Way and Wood Street (Marion Avenue to Waubeek Street).

The work will include resurfacing Bay Street, with adjustments intended to maximize parking opportunities on both the north and south sides of the street. The project also includes paving McIssac Way and Wood Street from Marion Avenue to Waubeek Street.

During construction, residents and motorists may experience temporary traffic disruptions, lane closures, reduced on-street parking, noise, and dust. Traffic in the work areas may be controlled by signs, signals, and/or flaggers as required.

Work is starting immediately and the project is expected to be completed by the end of August.
