Effective Immediately
Boil Water Advisory - Parry Sound Road
The Town of Parry Sound is issuing a Boil Water Advisory for affected residents, effective immediately on Parry Sound Road from Emily Street to Claude Street due to a break in the temporary watermain distribution system. Refer to the attached map for affected properties:
As a precautionary measure, all water used for drinking, cooking, food preparation, brushing teeth, making ice, or preparing infant formula should be brought to a rolling boil for at least one (1) minute prior to use in accordance with the North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit.
This advisory will remain in effect until satisfactory bacteriological test results have been received and reviewed by the Health Unit. Results are currently expected to be received on Sunday, September 6, 2026, and are subject to review by the Health Unit.
The Town of Parry Sound will notify affected residents once the Boil Water Advisory has been lifted by the Health Unit. In addition to public notification, Town staff will conduct door-to-door visits to advise affected residents when the advisory is no longer in effect.
We thank residents for their patience and cooperation. If you have any questions, please contact the Town of Parry Sound.
