Parry Sound Hot Chocolate Challenge: Warm Up Your Family Day Weekend!

Get ready to cozy up with some delicious hot chocolate creations during our Snowfest weekend in beautiful Parry Sound! We are excited to announce the return of the Hot Chocolate Challenge, where local businesses will showcase their barista skills by concocting unique and mouth-watering hot chocolate beverages for all to enjoy.

Who Can Participate?

• Local Businesses: All businesses are invited to create a special hot chocolate recipe. Show off your creativity and stand a chance to win!
• Public Taste Testers: Visit participating businesses to sample their signature hot chocolates and cast your vote for the best one!

How to Participate

1. For Businesses:
• Click here Register your business to participate in the challenge.
• Come up with a unique hot chocolate recipe that will wow our taste testers.
• Serve your hot chocolate at your establishment throughout the Family Day long weekend.
• Get your customers to vote via the Driftscape App
2. For Public Participants:
• Review the Hot Chocolate Challenge Tour outlining participating businesses on the Town of Parry Sound website or via the Driftscape App. The Tour will be available Friday, February 13, 2026.
• Visit as many locations as you like, try their amazing hot chocolates, and enjoy the snowy festivities.
• Vote for your favorite hot chocolate using the Driftscape app. Your votes will determine which business earns the title of Best Hot Chocolate!

Prizes

• For Businesses: The hot chocolate with the most votes will win a special coffee break for staff, valued up to $100.00—celebrate your team’s hard work!
• For Public Participants: By voting, you will be entered into a random draw for a chance to win one of two $50.00 Downtown Dollars certificates. Perfect for spending at local businesses!
