The Festival of the Sound is Parry Sound's world-renowned festival of chamber and classical music.

During the three-week summer festival, a number of Canadian and International musicians perform from the intimate setting of the Charles W. Stockey Centre for the Performing Arts.

The Festival of the Sound was honoured in 1995 and again in 2003 with the Lieutenant Governor's Award for the Arts.

A highlight of the festival is the concerts aboard the Island Queen, featuring music from classical to dixieland to jazz.

Visit the Festival of the Sound's website for a complete concert listing and plan to be part of this memorable annual event.
