Boat Launches

The Town of Parry Sound has several  Public Boat Launch Locations available for residents and visitors.

Locations:

Champagne Street Boat Launch is located at the end of Champagne Street. 

Mill Lake Boat Launch is located at the end of Hall's Quarry Road.

Salt Dock Boat Launch is located at the end of Salt Dock Road. 

Waubuno Beach Boat Launch is located at the end of Prospect Street adjacent to Waubuno Beach.

Maximum 1 hour docking at all Public Docks.  No overnight docking permitted.

Commercial use of the boat launches is not permitted without a permit.

Parking at Boat Launches

PLEASE BE ADVISED CHAMPAGNE STREET BOAT LAUNCH WILL BE CLOSED AS OF JULY 2ND, 2025.

Parking will be impacted before the start date as preparations begin. The closure is expected to extend through summer and fall of 2025 with the potential to continue into 2026 during the construction of Pump Station 2.  During the closure overnight parking will be permitted at Salt Dock Boat Launch with a permit.  

Permits are currently available to purchase for Mill Lake or Champagne Street - UNTIL JULY 1st ONLY.  SALT DOCK BOAT LAUNCH PERMITS AVAILABLE AS OF JUNE 27, 2025.

No overnight parking between the hours of 11:00 pm - 5:00 am at the boat launches without a permit.

Pilot Program - Residents of the Town of Parry Sound can apply for an exemption to the overnight parking fees.  Please contact By-law Enforcement for more information at 705-746-2413 or bylaw@parrysound.ca. 

No parking of unattached trailers.  Do not block any other vehicles, trailers or access points.  We do not have a large enough area at our launch locations to allow long term parking for all users and availability is on a first come first served basis.

Short Term Transient Boat Dock - "The Shoppers Dock" 

Located at 20 McIsaac Way, north of the Chippewa dock and the Seguin River Parkette. Short term docking available with a maximum 4 hour docking limit.  No overnight docking permitted.
