Program Information: Artistic Explorers

Unleash your child's creativity with our Artistic Explorers program! This enriching four-week program offers an exciting opportunity to explore the world of painting and crafting. Led by the talented Jamie Leah Baker, participants will develop their artistic skills and ignite their imagination through a variety of projects, crafting a new masterpiece each session.

Pickle-Pals League

Program Information: Pickle-Pals League

Join the exciting Pickle-Pals League at the Bobby Orr Community Centre in Parry Sound! Specially designed for pairings of one adult and one youth, this league promises fun and competition through weekly pickleball games.

Each week, teams will play a game consisting of three sets. Games will be provided one hour of playtime. All games will be self officiated, promoting sportsmanship and mutual respect. We will have a program expert on site to assist for rule clarifications.

Ages:

Teams must consist of one partner over 18 and another under 18.

Bobby Orr Community Centre- Stanley Cup Hall

Schedule:

Sundays, February 1 to March 1, 2026 (Excluding February 15)
Times: 5 PM - 6 PM or 6 PM - 7 PM

Ice Painting Party

Create Your Frozen Masterpiece: Say farewell to the ice skating season in style with our Ice Painting Party! This unique event invites families to unleash their creativity directly on the ice surface, transforming it into a canvas for your frosty masterpieces.

Event Date & Time: March 29, 2026, from 1 PM to 3 PM
Location: Bobby Orr Community Centre, Ice Surface

Highlights:

Families are allocated their own special section of the ice to decorate.
Each paintbrush is just $5.00, helping you bring your artistic vision to life.
All painting supplies, including vibrant paints, are provided by the Town of Parry Sound.

Safety Guidelines:

Helmets are mandatory for all participants due to potential slip risks.
Participants must wear boots or shoes—leave the skates at home!
All registrants are required to sign a safety waiver before joining the fun.
