Youth Art Class

Program Information: Roller Skating

Get rolling with our Roller Skating programs—designed for youth and teens with a range of experience levels, from first-time skaters to those looking to build skills beyond the basics. Participants must choose the program stream that fits best:

Learn to Skate: Designed for new skaters, with no experience. 

Skate Club: Designed for skaters looking for fun and games, skaters must have basic skating skills.

Roller Skating for Sport: Designed for skaters who are looking to develop skills beyond the basics. Ideal for those interested in roller sports or off ice-skating season maintenance.

Tuesdays: April 28-June 16, 2026

  • Learn to Skate: 5:00 PM – 5:45 PM
  • Skate Club: 6:00 PM – 6:45 PM
  • Roller Skating for Sport: 7:00 PM – 7:45 PM 

Cost

  • Learn to Skate: $70.00 / person
  • Skate Club: $70.00 / person
  • Roller Skating for Sport: $80.00 / person

Program Information: Crafts by the Bay

Perfect for the child who loves to create masterpieces—now with an outdoor twist at Waubuno Beach. Participants will exercise their creativity through a new craft weekly during this 4-week program. Each session focuses on building basic art-making and crafting skills while encouraging imagination and self-expression in a fun, beachside setting. Led by Jamie Leah Baker

Ice Painting Party

Create Your Frozen Masterpiece: Say farewell to the ice skating season in style with our Ice Painting Party! This unique event invites families to unleash their creativity directly on the ice surface, transforming it into a canvas for your frosty masterpieces.

Event Date & Time: March 29, 2026, from 1 PM to 3 PM
Location: Bobby Orr Community Centre, Ice Surface

Highlights:

  • Families are allocated their own special section of the ice to decorate.
  • Each paintbrush is just $5.00, helping you bring your artistic vision to life.
  • All painting supplies, including vibrant paints, are provided by the Town of Parry Sound.

Safety Guidelines: 

  • Helmets are mandatory for all participants due to potential slip risks.
  • Participants must wear boots or shoes—leave the skates at home!
  • All registrants are required to sign a safety waiver before joining the fun.

Gather your family and get ready for an unforgettable day of color and creativity on ice. This is the perfect opportunity to celebrate the season with art and fun!
