Our team is currently in the process of developing a diverse and exciting schedule for our fall and winter youth programs. We're committed to offering activities that cater to various interests and age groups, ensuring a fun and enriching experience for all participants.

Position: Young Artists Paint Class Instructor

Location: Bobby Orr Community Centre, Parry Sound

About the Program:

Join our dynamic team as an instructor for the Young Artists paint class. This program is designed to ignite creativity in young minds, offering a platform for children aged 6-13 to explore and develop their artistic skills. 

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Creative Development: Facilitate an inspiring and supportive environment for creative expression and artistic growth.
  • Art Instruction: Deliver hands-on guidance in visual arts, ensuring participants gain foundational skills in painting.
  • Curriculum Design: Plan weekly projects that captivate and challenge young artists while aligning with the program's objective to inspire continued interest in the arts.
  • Skill Development: Empower students with the techniques necessary to produce their own masterpieces.

Qualifications:

  • Passion for teaching and inspiring young minds through the arts.
  • Ability to create an inclusive and encouraging atmosphere.
  • Strong organizational skills with an aptitude for planning and executing engaging art projects.
