Curbside Collection Update: Recycling Now Managed by Circular Materials Ontario

Effective January 1, 2026, responsibility for residential recycling collection in the Town of Parry Sound has transitioned to the Province through Circular Materials Ontario. Circular Materials Ontario is responsible for the promotion of the new recycling program.

What you’ll see at the curb: No changes to your set-out. Please continue to place garbage and recycling at the curb on your normal collection day by 7:00 a.m.

Different trucks: You may notice garbage and recycling being collected by different trucks. This is expected and part of the transition.

Please view Circular Material's expanded list of recycling items here.
