2024 Regular Council Meeting Dates

Regular Council Meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month with the exception of the months of January (3rd Tuesday only) and August (2nd Tuesday only). Special Council Meetings are called as needed. Both are live streamed, and available on You Tube the following day.

YourTV, formerly known as COGECO, air Regular Council meetings at 9:30 AM on the Saturday following the meeting.  Any questions for YourTV should be directed to them at www.yourtv.tv

Council meetings start at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers located on the top floor of the Town Hall at 52 Seguin Street, Parry Sound (Gibson Street entrance). Meetings are open to the public.

Council, Board and Committee meetings are governed by Parry Sound's Procedural Regulations By-law. Under the Municipal Conflict of Interest Act, where a member of Council has a pecuniary interest in any matter, the  member is required to declare it prior to any consideration of the matter.  The Town keeps a registry of members' Declaration of Pecuniary Interest.
